Creating a green screen composite starts by filming a subject in front of an evenly lit, bright green (or blue) background. The captured footage is then taking into our compositing software where we replace the green with another image, CGI or video footage known as the background plate.
The biggest challenge when setting up a blue screen or green screen is even lighting and the avoidance of shadow, because it is best to have as narrow a color range as possible being replaced. Glasses also create a challenge when trying to pull a good key, they should be avoided if at all possible..
