Our goal with the Kenneth Erich Kunzman project was to tell a life story using still photos and celebrate the life of Kenneth Erich Kunzman.
By showing the most memorable moments of Kenneth’s life we were able to achieve the goal of touching memories for family members to keep Kenneth in their memories.
We had the client go thought their collection of photos and pull together 40-50 pictures per song. Once we received the photo content we scanned and digitized them 1.5 times bigger then the final output video size. We prepared the photo’s by color grading, touching up blemishes, and cropping techniques to get the best results and quality. To give some scale, motion, dissolves and effects to the photo’s we brought them in to After Effects. After Effects is a great compositing and animation program.
So the client could see the progression of the project we would send rough cuts to them though "You Send It" and email. We would burn timecode over the video so the client and us would be on the same page for any changes that needed to be made. Once the client signed off on the project we brought this final video in to DVD Studio Pro where we authored the final DVD.
